The Difference Between Warm and Cool Reds
When it comes to differentiating between warm and cool reds, the color wheel is our guide.
As you can see, colors with yellowish and orangey tones are considered 'warm,' while those with gem, jewel and bluish tones fall within the 'cool' realm.
Most people feel more comfortable in cool reds--a good thing since it's the most flattering for most complexions.
If you have a warmer complexion--such as a lighter skin tone, light eyes, freckling and auburn hair--a warm red may better suit you.
